Hi, I’m Matt — a dad, a fitness enthusiast, and someone who spent most of his thirties feeling way more knackered than he should have.
I’m not a personal trainer. I’m not a nutritionist. I’m just a regular bloke who got fed up with feeling sluggish, soft around the middle, and out of breath chasing my kids around the garden.
How This Site Started
A few years back I decided to actually do something about it. I started researching workouts I could do at home, supplements that were worth buying, and diet advice that didn’t require me to meal prep for six hours every Sunday.
The problem? Most fitness content online is aimed at either 22-year-old gym lads or people with three hours a day to spare. There was almost nothing specifically for dads — blokes with real responsibilities, real time constraints, and a real need to actually function as a human being.
So I built Healthy Dads.
What I Write About
Everything on this site comes from personal experience, proper research, or both. I’ve tried most of the supplements I review, tested the workout programmes I recommend, and only write about things I’d genuinely suggest to a mate.
I’ll always tell you when something isn’t worth your money — and when it is, I’ll tell you exactly where to get it cheapest.
A Note on Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you buy something — at no extra cost to you. It helps keep the site running and the coffee flowing. I only recommend products I actually rate. You can read more on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
